Introduction to the Walk DeLand and the Conrad Research and Education Center.

The West Volusia Historical Society is the sponsoring organization and source for much of the information presented in “Walk DeLand.” The Society’s goal is to promote and preserve the history of West Volusia and it accomplishes that goal by providing activities, programs, and historical archiving to residents and visitors alike. Membership is open to anyone and many of the Society’s programs and activities are free to the public.

The main office of the Society is located in the Conrad Research and Education Center of the WVHS Complex at 137 W. Michigan Ave.

Hours of operation:

• Tuesday-Saturday: 12 pm – 4 pm,

Tours of DeLand House Museum are given daily for a fee and end after 3 pm.
