Learn more about Safety Harbor’s unique historical past by taking the Florida Stories walking tour. Visit twelve engaging stops filled with local history and stories. With roots back to the Tocobaga natives, the city was home to Bailey’s Springs, now known as the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa, where mineral springs were advertised as healing waters. Other remnants of the past include the Tucker Mansion and the Saint James Hotel, just two examples of people, places and things of historical significance you’ll hear about on this walking tour produced by the Florida Humanities Council.
