St. Petersburg, long known as the “Sunshine City”, has a storied history as a popular tourist destination, having promoted itself for decades as the embodiment of the “Florida Dream.” The Walk St. Petersburg audio tour, with twelve stops, takes one from the city’s famous waterfront, down Central Avenue and the heart of downtown, to Mirror Lake with its Shuffleboard Club and historic Coliseum before ending with stops at City Hall and the city’s town square, Williams Park.
