Plaza Ferdinand

Plaza Ferdinand

Originally part of the western perimeter of the British fort, this area remained clear to discourage attacks on the fort and was used as a parade ground. Named for the King of Spain, Plaza Ferdinand VII is one of two plazas created by the Spanish in 1813. To further explore the plaza, click this stop.
